Last year on May 20, 2010, the first international SF Fine Art in almost a decade opened its doors to the public and welcomed nearly 15,000 visitors to four days of art, lectures, and events. Featuring 83 galleries from around the world, displaying over 6,000 modern and contemporary artworks by more than 500 artists, the SF Fine Art Fair was an overwhelming success for galleries, art collectors and enthusiasts, as well as the Fair's organizers who say they will assuredly be back in 2011. Attendees to the SF Fine Art Fair will have the opportunity to view and purchase works from collections held by galleries from across the globe, in 50,000 sq. ft. Fort Mason Festival Pavilion setting designed to highlight the spectacular selection of modern and contemporary paintings, works on paper, drawings, printed editions, photography, digital and new media works, and sculpture (both indoors and outdoors) by the world's leading artists. I plan on contacting a few exhibitors to see if they could take a few of my paintings that I had anticipated liquidating.
